C trumpet

Thanks to a multitude of component combinations (leadpipe, valve assembly, tuning slide, bell), our hand-made trumpets are highly versatile. They boast an extraordinary intonation and comfortable response.

  • Hand-hammered and hand-bent bell
  • Trigger for the third valve slide
  • Exchangeable leadpipe
  • Water keys on the tuning slide and third valve slide

  • Bows made from gold brass
  • Slides and mechanical parts made from nickel silver
  • Bell made from brass or gold brass

  • Finished as desired (lacquer, silver or gold plating, brushed and lacquered etc.)
  • Double trigger for the first and third valve slide
  • 1–3 vienna keys (C, A, B)
  • Extra-long water key
  • Exchangeable bell
  • Pressure relief vent(s)

We use valve assemblies by J. Voigt or Meinlschmidt, as desired. The latter are equipped with bronze valve caps and lubricating grooves.

The B1H bell has an amazing ability to “purr” like a cat at low volumes in addition to really throwing the sound far away with much power, even at quiet volumes. When I play loudly with this bell, it really lights up and crackles like electrical sparks or lightning and pierces through even all of my colleague’s piston trumpet sound while maintaining a very robust and round sound. It is a very full and enveloping sound! It also fits the exchangeable part of the trumpet very well, which is very impressive since you did not have the trumpet to test the fit! Amazing work with this one! I think this bell really demonstrates how many sound colors are available to your trumpets.
