Our large-bore tenor tuba in B♭ has been developed specifically for symphony orchestras, symphonic brass orchestras and brass ensembles. Its warm and dark but projecting tone means it’s suitable for orchestral use as well as solo parts. With its extraordinary intonation, our tenor tuba is right at home in a variety of settings from a full symphony orchestra performing Mahler or Strauss, as first or second tuba in a quartet to the baritone horn or euphonium position of a symphonic brass orchestra.
